Tuaman Engineering Limited is a prominent EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company based in Kolkata, India. In 2019-2020, Tuaman Engineering decided to implement SAP to streamline its operations, but their initial SAP implementation was incomplete and failed to meet their expectations. • Incomplete Sales and Distribution (SD) Module: The SD module was not functioning optimally, impacting order processing and delivery management.

• Missing MIS Reports: The client’s management was not receiving the necessary management information system (MIS) reports, hampering strategic decision-making.

• Integration Gaps: Key features, including GST integration and TDS reporting, were missing or poorly implemented in the Finance (FI) module.

These deficiencies were limiting the client’s ability to fully leverage SAP for project execution, financial management, and operational oversight.

Solution Implementation

Following the audit, Tuaman Engineering awarded us the contract to reconstruct and optimize their SAP system. Our approach focused on enhancing the critical modules and ensuring proper integration across the organization. The key aspects of our solution included:

1. Reconstruction of Project Systems (PS):

• We configured the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to align with Tuaman Engineering’s project management needs. This configuration optimized project tracking, budgeting, tendering, and documentation processes.

• The budgeting of projects and RA (Running Account) billing were streamlined, allowing for better financial control and visibility throughout the project lifecycle.

• Integration of inventory tagging and two-project management enabled the company to manage multiple aspects of large projects more efficiently.

2. Enhancement of Sales and Distribution (SD):

We completed the implementation of the SD module, ensuring smoother order processing, efficient sales tracking, and improved distribution management.

3. GST and TDS Integration in FI Module:

We integrated GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) reporting in the FI module, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations. This integration added immense value to the customer by automating tax-related processes and improving reporting accuracy.

4. MIS Reports and Business Analytics:
